The 2026 Armenian Film Festival closes with the U.S. premiere of De Gaulle – Part I: Resistance. Directed by Antonin Baudry and starring Simon Abkarian as Charles de Gaulle, the historical film follows de Gaulle’s World War II journey from military leader to a defining figure in French politics between 1940 and 1945. The film had its world premiere at Cannes.
