Armenian Genocide Remembrance – Montebello Monument

Community members and supporters are invited to gather on April 24 beginning at 10:00 AM at the Armenian Genocide Martyrs Monument in Montebello to mark Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day and honor the memory of the 1.5 million Armenians who lost their lives in 1915. Attendees are welcome to visit the monument throughout the morning to lay flowers, reflect, and stand in remembrance alongside members of the Armenian community and allies from across Southern California.

Those wishing to take part in additional community observances can also attend a formal ceremony typically held at the monument the afternoon of April 23, bringing together clergy, community leaders, and organizations ahead of the Remembrance Day gathering.
